USMCA

The United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement (USMCA) supports mutually beneficial trade leading to free markets, fairer trade, and robust economic growth in North America.

The USMCA agreement creates more balanced, reciprocal trade supporting high-paying jobs for Americans and growing the North American economy.

The United States, Mexico, and Canada create a more level playing field for American workers, including improved origin rules for automobiles, trucks, other products, and currency discipline manipulation.

It also benefits American farmers, ranchers, and agribusinesses by modernizing and strengthening the food and agriculture trade in North America.

This trade agreement supports the 21st Century economy through new protections for U.S. intellectual property and ensuring trade opportunities for U.S. services.

New chapters added to the USMCA agreement covers Digital Trade, Anti Corruption, and Good Regulatory Practices. As a chapter devoted to ensuring that Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises benefit from the Agreement.
